I must be over looking something here but I am not sure how to display the dignities of a chart.
In the preferences I see the panel for diginities and also the "append to selected TextField" but not sure if this needs to be changed or ware to see the output.
I also assume I will need to manualy apply points if desired.

Click on the question mark in the top right corner of the right window pane.
Check "Show Comments".
Hoover with mouse over any chart object and see object's info in the right pane.

Preferences/Dignities "append to selected TextField" is used to change the standard conventions, so do not play with it unless you have enough of Aquarius/Aries attitude.
