Progressions, directions

Post by laura »

Hi all:

I've started on a more in depth study of progressions and directions lately. I've played with them as a secondary reference over the years and have seen basic reasons why they are useful.

I was wondering if anyone out there has a preference to one of the other, and why, and when one is more useful that the other, etc. Really, anything anyone would like to discuss or call into question.

:)
