In the radix draw are diffrent aspects lines. some are full color and others are faded. what is the difference between these lines. I have coosen only a few of the aspects and get a bunch of lines. if i compare the drawing with the older kairon version i have only the lines of the choosen Aspects. what's the difference?

the aspect lines vary in thickness according to the exactness of an aspect, so more exact aspects will be stronger than less exact ones.

Can you have a look at the entries at the "aspects" tab in the "preferences" dialog of kairon? Anything that happens about aspects should be reflected there. Will changes in that panel be accepted and will they still be there, even after quitting kairon and launching it again?

if Kairon 3 does not remember your changes on aspect settings, then most likely the permissions of the used preference file are not properly set, which happens on some configurations. This can easily be fixed by quitting Kairon (if it should be running), then opening the "kPref" folder inside the "Kairon" folder inside the "Applications" folder and single-clicking the pref file you have in use, this is "def.Kair" per default. Then choose the finder's info command from the finder's "file" menu and watch out for the details on the permissions. Set them to read and write permissions, then everything will work fine.

It is most likely, that if the permissions are wrong on one file, that the same may be true for other files as well. For Kairon 3.03 all the preference files need read and write permissions and also the private atlas file, called "Private.Acs". Otherwise also locations you enter will be forgotten. (On editing the Private Atlas, please exactly follow the tutorial, otherwise you might end up with wrong daylight savings for your new locations).
