progressed lunation cycle

Post by sefira »

Hi

I'm thinking about buying a licence but i don't see anything about the calculation of the progressed lunation cycle (Rudhyar) which i use every day.

can you tell me if Kairon can bring an answer to this and how ?

Thanks !

it is not there as a ready to go method, but for this and also for further methods you can combine the time-machine with the progressions tool:
The progressions tool will show you date and time and if you enter that into the time machine you can do all sorts of transits or further progressions to that progressed chart.

The thing is i don't know how to use Kairon and would like to be sure that i can get the kind of result i get with the software i've using (ie french software AstroMac, maybe you've heard of it ?). Here is what i mean :

Nouvelle Lune Progressée
Me 30.04.1969 06h15 (05h15ut), 2°24E 48°52N PARIS 19
16.05.1969 08h26 ut
NL. (016a02m) 17.06.1985 Sol 055°17' Lun 055°17'
1/8 (020a02m) 14.07.1989 Sol 059°13' Lun 104°13'
2/8 (024a03m) 14.08.1993 Sol 063°09' Lun 153°09'
3/8 (028a00m) 09.05.1997 Sol 066°44' Lun 201°44'
PL. (031a04m) 30.08.2000 Sol 069°54' Lun 249°54'
5/8 (034a06m) 06.11.2003 Sol 072°57' Lun 297°57'
6/8 (037a11m) 06.04.2007 Sol 076°13' Lun 346°13'
7/8 (041a09m) 16.01.2011 Sol 079°50' Lun 034°50'

how can i ask the time machine to get to the first new moon following the birth and transcribe it into progressed age (in the above chart, you can see i experienced it at the age of sixteen and 2 months) (you can also see that i am a taurus with taurus rising, so please be patient with me !!!!!!)

Best regards

to find the new moon after birth is easy: with the birth chart active go to the timemachine and add to the date until the moon is exactly conjunct to the sun. but then how to transfer that date into progressed age depends on the kind of progressions. if it is standard progressions the key is: one day counts for one year. so as i understand it from your description you would take the new moon chart for a progressed chart but don't know for which year that will fall into account?

Hi just came back from my holidays and found your post

Yes, you have to determine the date and time of the first new moon following the birth. This gives you the beginning point of the lunation cycle which lasts 28 years : each phase of this cycle should then be translated into "real time" so that you can see how old you are when you experience it and in what house and sign it takes place.

As in the lunation cycle, there are 8 phases - lasting about 3-4 years, depending of the exact dates of the cycle - that determine important shifts in the person's life.

So what do you think, can it be done on Kairon ?

So long

Anyhow it starts getting time for a Kairon 4.0...
